Texas A&M AgriLife Research Gardens

The “test plots” at TAMU’s Research Gardens represent a bright future for horticultural research, extension and teaching activities at Texas A&M University. HORT-TREC (Horticulture Teaching, Research, and Extension Center) consolidates research and demonstration activities for the Department of Horticultural Sciences.  The new facility, in its second year of operation, houses the research greenhouse complex and long-term research plots for the department’s peach, vegetable, rose, wine grape, olive and golden kiwi breeding programs.

Wednesday’s lunch will be at the Memorial Student Center prior to departure. Tours will leave promptly at 1:00pm so please ensure you finish your lunch in sufficient time. Boxed lunches will be provided on Friday.
